The past Saturday was a beautiful day to host an outdoor urban arts festival.
Pulse Studios teamed up with Four Plus Urban Arts Expo to organize the dance aspect of the program. The 3 vs 3 all styles dance battle was hype. We had 15 teams who signed up brought routines, energy and raw battle mentality.
It was great to see all our Pulse Studios students come out to compete for the first time.
This year we had a special Judge showcase that included our Pulse Studios Summer Camp Dancers who have been working on a end of camp show for the last week, special guest teachers: Tara Wilson, Honey Rockwell, Sweepy and Kid David. I got to say that the energy was amazing.
Thanks to all the teams who came down to support from Calgary – Edmonton and Toronto and congrats to Twisted Ankle from Toronto for taking top spot with $1000 cash prize.
